About Us

Every borough has an established Safer Neighbourhood Board, which gives local Londoners and victims a greater voice.

 

Do you - Want to establish a closer working relationship with the local police to improve community safety in Barnet? 
 

Can you - Spare a few hours a month to make a significant difference in improving community safety in Barnet? We understand your time is valuable, and we assure you that your contribution will be impactful.
If so - We need volunteers to join the new Barnet Safer Neighbourhood Board.

The Barnet Safer Neighbourhood Board, a crucial team of volunteers and local agencies, works in unison to provide essential advice to the Borough Commander, contributing significantly to the safety of our community. 
 
The Board comprises a range of individuals representing Barnet’s diverse communities alongside the statutory positions defined in the MOPAC Guidance.

We want to involve people of all ages and from all sections of the community. This includes those who may not have been actively involved before, who may be vulnerable, or who have been victims of crime.
